Is the registration fee per truck or person? I'm highly considering attending this, but may also see if one of my buddies wants to tag along

U.S. Off Road is proud to be a sponsor this year. I'm not sure if I'll make the 22 hour drive or not but I'll be sending 'stuff' to give away.

Sloth the registration fee is $70. That is for 1 person (Usually the truck owner/driver) and gives an event t-shirt, event decal, a coupon for the raffle dinner and 1 raffle ticket for the Saturday night raffle dinner. You may purchase additional decals & tshirts during the online registration process. Additional raffle tickets are on sale at the raffle dinner. You can buy a diner only for your buddy if he doesn't drive.

Then there's the park fees 15$ for membership of one year and daily entrance fee is $35.00 for the vehicle and driver. Passengers age 16 and up are $7.00 each. This is for the park, we have no control on these fees.

There is a good group that gets there on Thursday, since we come from all over, Thursday is more a settling in day, we normally wheel Friday and Saturday, Saturday being the big attendance day. Since this year we changed the dates there may be some wheeling on Sunday too, but nothing official.

Some people stay at the Comfort Inn in Pine Grove not far from there or camp at the KOA site also not far. There is primitive camping at the park.

I was there for the Easter and Thanksgiving runs last year and had a BLAST both times!! I did the greens both times, but was thinking about stepping up to the blues. Is there an intermediate group that would do mostly greens, but throw in some blues for people to try?? Perhaps greens in the morning and blues in the afternoon??

Some groups do green/blues , it all depends on the group's setup ( what mods everyone as )

If you can get a group of say 7-8 trucks that want to mix Blue/Green then that is always cool. Many of the leaders lean towards Blue's so lining up one should be fairly easy. Just as long as everyone in the group knows ahead of time. Keep in mind the trails change ALOT from year to year. Quite a few greens were verging on Blue last year.

Old property has always been the more technical side but I have to say some of the new stuff is changing pretty quickly with traffic and erosion. If you go blue make sure you have sliders and atleast 285s. Armour is a good idea but they say with a good spotter you can do it without.

Arrival is like CholeraBob says. The best trick is too hook up with a caravan heading in from your locale. I woke up Thursday morning in Portsmouth NH and started picking up folks near the Mass border. By the time we got to Newburgh NY I think we had 8 or so trucks.

Ok, think I'll sign up. Can I just add a passenger later if need be?

And what time on Thursday are you usually rolling through mass? I'm in Hopkinton, right where 495 and mass pike intersect

The deal with adding a passenger late is that they may not get to attend the raffle dinner or get a T shirt.

As far as rolling through Mass this year I don't think I am going to make it. But if you register on the www.FJNortheasters.org/forum site you can certainly find some folks that are coming down from that area to hook up with. If things change for me I will let you know. Normally I would be in Portland ME Wednesday night and crossing into Mass close to 9am on Thursday morning. Breaking up the 16hr run into two parts makes it alot easier for me.

Sorry about the slow replies guys. This not being able to go has sort of knocked the wind out of my sails....Sucks since this run is really shaping up to be amazing. I mean at this point the raffle prizes are awesome. A winch, a full toytec lift kit, powertank set up, two sets of spidertrac spacers....and on and on. I would go on my own but I am afraid I might get divorced before I got back home.

Just registered!! I was there last year for the Easter run and Turkey Trot and they were a blast. Can't wait for this year!! May step up to try some blue trails, along with the standard greens.

You certainly won't regret signing up and going to the Northeaster Event. It is really shaping up to be the best one yet.
