I have a CB that needs to be tested. Haven't actually used it since its been hooked up. Got a good SWR read on it, though.

I have a meter and patch cable I can bring. Is your antenna tuneable? Ideally you want to be in a wide open, flat area.

 

Yeah, it's a 3' Firestik and was tuned in a parking lot, then double-checked in a cow field. I just never had anyone to do a mic check with.

 

Ohhh you probably are good then. 80% of the guys don't tune their CBs anyways haha

 

I never did. Then again, with an 8' whip, there's not much I can do to tune it...

We just need one big ole fuckin mod day before LBL. We can cut cab mounts, cut fenders, tune cb’s, all sorts of shit.

Was in Boston the last 7 years, and I hibernated all winter every winter. Just because I survived worse doesn't mean I enjoyed it haha

I spent 6 years in the Middle East, and another 6 years in south east Asia and Australia. I love the heat.

My happy temp range is 80 - 120.

Weekend after next I may have people in town for Mardi Gras. Not sure yet.

 

Out of town that week and weekend till the LBL. I’ll be driving 900 miles to LBL...
