LBL Slop Fest 2019 calling it.... KY&TN getting put over a barrel with all this rain. Anyone know the USGA TVA LVLS of KY Lake? The bay might be a little wet this year.

Its done nothing but rain here since about October so go ahead and count on it raining.

 

When we were there a couple weeks ago the trails were way dustier than I expected. There were definitely sloppy places too though, and 40 trucks going through them won't make them better.

 

We all know that 357 is the sloppiest whore of a trail with or without rain

 

Here’s a couple current pictures of Neville Bay I took today. Lake water is really high and all of the rivers are at flood stage. The lower half of the camp ground is covered in water. Ground is super sloppy and the trails are a muddy mess.

How quickly this drains or doesn’t drain will be a real game changer

 

Yeah I went south today from LBL to the Cross Creek wildlife refuge just south of Dover, TN and Cumberland City, TN and all the roads were gated off. Most of the roads going into the refuge you could see went underwater.

Predictions are still showing water rise for the next week and start to crest off the weekend of this trip. But that depends on if we get more rain or not going up the valleys and how the snow melt starts in our northern states that affect the upper Mississippi and Ohio rivers. If the Tennessee river or Cumberland get more rain it would significantly impact our the region as well.

 

If anyone needs an air down tool, I'm selling my knock off one for $10. It works pretty well, I just wanted to get the ARB one. I'll bring it with me to LBL.




I also have a tapco G2 trigger group out of my WASR10 if anyone wants it. $20
