AFAIK, most states have laws that you can only operate 4 headlights at a time (hi beams count as 2 each). But if they're all in the same housing, do they count as one? But man, this would be amazing for off road use. Point each one of those out a little bit and you'd have insane coverage

I was wondering about mounting Baja design LC9s in the headlights. I never compared the lumin to see what would have a higher output.

Bad idea as they do not have a street legal cutoff. Basically like running your highbeams constantly.

Aiming 4 projectors to actually get a flat cutoff is going to be a nightmare & defeats the purpose of retrofitting to achieve a perfect crisp stepped cutoff across the L & R headlights IMO. I kept mine simple, couldn’t be happier. That being said, rock on and do yo thang, OP

Not really. Our new F150 headlights have stacked optics and still have a single cutoff line.

    Yes.
Soon!!! Of course I'm cheating. I've got a much larger headlight housing, and separate high beams.

Are you going to use our Hi-Lens for the high beam!? It begs for those!

Considering the new RDX uses four optics per headlight for low beam, I'd say it's fine as long as it's a single focal output and in a single housing.

    Yes.
I was just going to use the Reflector in the Highbeam... Although my neighbor has a pair of BMW 3 series headlights he took out that have a projector High. Maybe I'll retrofit those in there instead.

I would buy the fuck outta this.

Just saw the Hoonigans episode with the ranger prerunner last night. Been thinking how to get a 4 pod DOT rated headlight ever since.

Plastic headlights are garbage. Have a stoner blow some glass lenses. You know, like real trucks had a long time ago....

If you were running a baja prerunner you could get away with it, but that would be reckless endangerment on the street. They are stupid bright.

would be cool if you could 3D print a cutoff bezel for squadron lights so people could have a super defined cut off for street driving. I bet a lot of people would like that.

You know if you could make a new bowl for the lights that look like this:

I'm gonna break out the duct tape and give this a proof of concept tonight. If it works, the gauntlet has been dropped.
