What are y'all thoughtss on 8" hc lights on the front bumper of my 97 Tacoma are those two big should I use 4 inch or 6 inch there's a guy here in town selling four of them I was thinking of putting two on the front of my truck or maybe even three but was not sure of the 8-inch ones would look right or if they would be too big normally I see smaller ones on front bumpers he also has a light bar that fits the top of the truck above the windshield but I think all trucks look gay like that I hate light bars above the windshield on top of the truck sorry had to throw that little rant in there

I think your opinion on what looks good on your truck is all that matters so decide for yourself some things look good some not so much but its more important to get your truck in a safe operating mode with that front end issue you have going on before worrying about styling accessories and it will matter what type of winch rig you wind up with to as to which form of auxiliary lighting works best for you but I do think that writing long run on sentences w/o punctuation is pretty gay as well sorry for the mirrored rant see what I did there don't you

Truck is in the shop now getting front end fix thanks for your worries though although putting lights on at first would have made sense if I ran off the road I can see where I went

Use caution with any installation of anything that restricts airflow across the radiator/condenser area Hint it's one reason roof mounted light bars have an advantage sometimes as well as being higher allows some further out aiming you know like lying your flashlight on the floor vs holding it over your head which illuminates further

Personally roof mounted light bars spray your hood with all sorts of light that in the end makes it HARDER to see because your pupils dilate to compensate for it so i agree with your rant As for the front bumper the bigger the housing the more raw lumens are put out and the lights reach is farther not to mention a larger amperage draw usually

Yeah. But I bet they can see when they go off the road. And why the gay comment on roof top bars. I just put one on and it is bright as hell. Looks like daytime. And no there isn't any spray on the hood.
The lights you want get them. Who cares what others think?
