It is a Stock Outboard Hyroplane. Weighs around 105 pounds! I build them and deliver as well. I hauled this one from Northern Michigan to the Detroit area. That one runs a 30 horse racing engine and can hit around 65+ MPH!
And I hope to learn how to post photos full size. Ha Ha.

That is a SWEET setup! I found this image doing a google search to make sure my longboard will ride will on top of my new leer for my DCSB. I'm putting the Thule Tracker racks on but I love that rack that you have on top of your cab in addition to the racks on the shell. What is that rack and how does it mount? Thanks!

Thanks!! It's a Utility Rack by Bajarack.

    http://www.bajarack.com/tacoma2-ut

I can't say enough good things about the rack, and the company. Mounts in 10 minutes, quality construction. Totally versatile. Great customer service from Bajarack.

Mounting is easy. You have a double cab? Lift up the rubber gutter molding strips on the roof. Near the front and rear you'll find factory threaded mounting holes. 2 per corner. They are covered by a small strip of paint colored tape. Those are where the rack feet mount. It comes with bolts and all. All you have to do is drill small holes in your rubber gutter molding to put the bolts through.

Awesome! I'm not sure what all I would put up there but it looks sick haha. I mostly use my racks for surfboards, kayaks, and canoes. I'm not really much of a "wheeler" so i wouldnt be putting recovery gear and stuff up there. I've been interested in one of those pull out canopy shades that mount on the side of a rack. Would that would with that setup?

I've had an access cab previously and had the thule racks on my 6ft shell and it carried boards of all sizes really well but when i got the DCSB and the leer shell, I've struggled to decide whether to put the racks on the cab or on the shell....or both. Any reasons behind that decision? Thanks for the info!!

I use the bajarack over the cab for my Rooftop tent mostly, and the Yakima racks on the shell for surfboards etc. since the RTT is heavy, especially with 2 adults up there, so I preferred to keep it over the cab rather than the fiberglass shell.

You could mount a shade awning to the bajarack no problem. I've also carried kayaks, canoes, lumber, all kinds of stuff up there!

Got any pictures with your RTT and surfboards up on the racks? Trying to think I could accommodate both things once I get my RTT!

    Thanks in advance!

This board is 9'2". I haul a 12' prone paddleboard all the time without issues as well. No pics of that operation though. Only downside is that unless you are super crafty with your strap setup,it is difficult to get down. I just stand on the roof of my rig/camper, so idgaf, but to most people this would be an issue if you surf as much as I do.

I've got an access cab w/ a topper but no roof racks. Anybody mount boards with ratchet straps to the top?

Will pad it with towels/foam at contact points. But am looking to have the back be a sleeping area for a 2 week surf roadtrip. (FWIW one is a 9' noserider, the other is 8' foam. So with the bed I won't be able to angle them inside.)
