80% Arms

So, my friend got me into guns and well here it is now.. At first it was suppose to be a budget build but i started to like the fancy accessories.

What starting an 80% looks like, if your buying the 805 Arms jig. I have never really drilled into metal but the bits 80% Arms provide on their website work perfectly..



(When drilling out the lower receiver it was easier for me to start the drill press while already inside the hole I was about to drill out.)

Looks good but got a little scuffed during the milling process.. I recommend using tape or something to prevent scratches.




Its my first time "machining". Take your time! Best results if you take your time, I rushed myself..







I used this jig and these tools.


What the longest-hardest process is..




It has parts from Palmetto, Joe Bob outfitters, and of course 80% Arms. Awesome project and fun to build.

 

I picked up there universal router jig to finish off a pair of milsport Arms 80% lowers I recently purchased.

Applied a krylon camo paint job to the ghost gun today.

 

I have machined out a couple. Only have got one put together so far. Had it ceracoated before assembly.

 

These are sweet! I really want to get an 80% lower since Im in Commifornia. What is the cost of these lowers and jigs and all?
