Definitely heading up in January. Once I get those expos installed, I can have my tent on again without the sag.

Speaking of, I don't have a floor jack, torque wrench or jack stands up here. Does anybody have any tools @logcabinwc and I can borrow to install my leaf packs next thursday?

Anybody in SB interested in a Bestop Supertop for $500? I bought it brand new in March, put it on in April, and just decided I'm going in a different direction... It's in great shape, windows are clear, no tears.

Devereaux and sands should be ok early. There is swell on the charts for monday thru friday next week and probably longer so you could try to choose a day with less wind to take off.

Sick. Thanks man. I really gotta get some supplies up here. Normally wait to do all my work at home where I have a driveway and my neighbors don't look at me weird.

I'll be at Devereaux tomorrow morning and hopefully meeting up with some friends in Ventura saturday! Testing out my gopro in the water for the first time. Those surfboard mounts aren't very reassuring.

Next Thursday, so a week from today. My last final is Thursday from 12-1:30 then it is gonna be lunch, and truck work. Hopefully knock out the leaf spring install before dark. I've heard it's easier than an AAL.

Don't tell me that haha. Installing my AAL was a pain. Took way longer than I expected. I've heard to install the front, then the rear since the shackle can move to fit. Hopefully it is an easy swap. At least I don't have to separate the leaf pack like I did before.

yea sounds similar to what we did.
Biggest pain was brake lines for some reason, just would not go together

I'm installing brake lines at home. Need to check out my brakes anyway because they have been squealing like no other but they are pretty new. Just gonna unbolt the stock ones so I can drive home to LA safely.

Cool. Just hit me up before hand to pick it up.

I'm thinking I need to get one as well! How has the footage turned out with it? Seems like it would be shaky? :notsure:

The footage was mostly good, it wasnt shaky. The main issue was the leash got in the way a few times and that angle makes the waves look smaller than they are.

Mouth mounts are sick. Used one snowboarding last year and got really cool footage. A bit shaky but we were going over bumpy stuff.
