Yes, I did Hi Mountain Road the day after I got my truck. It's a lot rougher than I remember (many years ago) but not a problem for a 4x4. I've been up Garcia Ridge trail (branches off Hi Mt. Rd.) many times in the past, but it was really brushed-in back then, I imagine it's much worse now. As previously stated, I'm going to be a sissy about my truck for a while and avoid trails that are heavily brushed-in.

I'll be interested to hear your report on West Cuesta (TV Tower Rd?). There has to be some access for the communication sites, so it can't be completely closed to all traffic but it may have a locked gate.

El Capitan and Refugio are good options too and will normally have less wind and be a little warmer.

No dogs on the sand but in the camps is just fine. I always just take my pup along the cliffs until I'm out of sight and then we play on the beach!

Yup! Install went relatively smoothly! If anyone is interested in doing a run up West Camino, @doreydeluxe and I are meeting at Big 5 at 2:30pm!

Well went up to fig today and on the way went down Refugio rd. The roads open all the way. Looks like they repaved all but one bridge. A ton of bikes heading up after the rain! Almost took out four downhill longboarders coming down fig mountain road to the saddle scared the shit out me. On way home stopped and checked out the river crossing. Haven't been there since there was waterimage.jpg

Put on the OME setup this morning with @fishfinder, feels great!
BUT. When I go over the speed bumps at my apartment, there is a significant *clunk* from the front end. I don't feel (at least its not noticeable) any harsh hit or anything, I only really hear it.
Any ideas? I think tomorrow I might try and pull the sway bar off and see if thats it, but it didn't look like they were all that close.
Will be getting the alignment done hopefully tomorrow, I'll ask and see if they can spot anything funky too.
