But as they say in England, "if it isn't raining, it isn't training"

this is exactly what we have done and what we are doing. we built an aev 1 ton with the high output cummins and aisin trans. 25mpg and a 1000 pound feet of torque lol its awesome. i have a build on here if you want to take a look at what we have done might give you some ideas. our truck has the dual battery and 440 amp alternator pack as well it was hard to find a truck on the ground built that way but in the end it was worth it for what its intended purpose will be.

we are also wanting to get a 4 wheel camper hawk model all decked out with lithium phosphate batteries and run it off of those giant alternators and solar. should be a bad ass set up. i'll post pics in the next couple weeks if your interested. heres a pic of my aev ram

on a side note i would go with carli suspensions pin tops they are insanely capable for 10k pound trucks. aev went the route of maintaining the factory springs so you retain your factory tow rating and aren't lifting high to fit those 37's its more of an overland hauler the way we built ours. we where debating going with the carli kit and it has some absolute advantages over the aev but i couldn't justify the price as i'm planning on loading mine down and not jumping it lol.

    Am I doing this right?
Anyone have a car trailer I could borrow for an hour or two? Was driving my girlfriends car down De La Vina late last night and a car decided to do a U-turn out in the middle of the intersection just as I was going through. Ended up T-boning the car and most likely totalling my girlfriends car. Police report and the driver admitted to him being at fault. If not I'm sure we can get it towed, just trying to save her some money. Thanks ahead guysIMG_8408.jpg IMG_8410.jpg

If it's their fault, their insurance company should cover the tow. And the rental car. etc etc.

While I know nothing about Texas, I'm happy for you. I'm getting the itch to get out of CA. Texas will have awesome food!

Ehh I hated it here at first. But I really enjoy it now. The hiking, the waves, SB and SLO.
I'm also going to the middle of nowhere Texas. I think they said 2 hours away from San Antonio and DFW.

Damn your life is interesting. Mammoth, Texas... I'm jealous.

Texas is awesome. I really looked at moving to Dallas in a few years but I think I've settled on Denver Colorado since my girlfriend likes it there as well.

Rog wilco. I'll be out there for little under a year, then I'll be on the road again. I've got an ar, ak, and a 1911 chilling at the 'rents house back in UT. They're so sad...haven't been used in a while..
