So fun but so weird! A car was parked across the road on a cliff. Looked creepy like somebody parked it there to stop us. Couldn't find owner so we pulled it out of the way.

Thanks man! Buying stuff to Velcro my CB.

Speaking of, anybody know why my CB that is powered by the cigarette lighter makes my third brake light flicker when I talk. Like Kit from night rider. Also, for a while it didn't work unless I was on my brakes. @fishfinder got a kick out of me brake checking people so I could talk.

Wtf? Why would someone block a FIRE ROAD like that? If there was an emergency that truck would have been pushed off the cliff

Running your cb from the cigarette lighter is a no go. You should run it straight to the battery!

Is the cigarette lighter wired in line with the brakes or something? Why is that a no go?

For the cb you need the cleanest signal possible, including a perfect ground plane. Running the power and ground through the cig lighter just muffs everything up. You probably just got a better ground when the breaks were hit. Don't ask me how...cause who knows?! Plus you were probably 10' from everybody else. Imagine if you were on a real trail. I doubt it would work.

I have been hearing a slight clunking sound whenever my suspension flexes quickly, like going over a speedbump or entering a driveway, and it has been stressing me out... I jacked the truck up today and checked the torque on every single suspension bolt, front and rear; all tight, nothing was even slightly loose. So I check the play on my CV axles, seems normal, I check for wobble in the wheel bearing assembly, nothing, tie rod ends are tight and all the BJ boots look solid. Running out of ideas, I get under the truck and check the torque on all of my skid plate bolts.... AHA! The bolts connecting my IFS skid to the tranny skid are both loose, and one of the bolts holding the IFS skid on is a bit loose, and I can actually wiggle the skid around... So I remove everything, clean all the threads, tighten everything back up, and no more clunking!! I sort of felt stupid for not checking those first, but am glad I double-checked everything...

Also found an old shoe box full of change, went to coinstar, and got $70! Today was a good day...
