I try not to, but my grandmother was the prior owner and it was well taken care of. Just died slowly.

    :pccoffee:

I'll say that some makes are more expensive to maintain for sure. Service and parts for lets say a Volvo are way more $$ than say a Honda. And like you guys are saying, I'm pretty sure this is what leads to improper maintenance and shorter life spans for those "more expensive brands" of vehicles

Anyways, on to more important things...What type of meat should I cook/smoke in my Egg for the Superbowl??

Need to find a good butcher shop up since there aren't really any "real" ones here. Where should I look? Santa Maria, Lompoc, Buellton, Solvang????

Good choice. Floriano's in Lompoc cuts meat. Their food is excellent.

Thanks I'll check them out. Just at first glance, they look pretty pricey!! like 1.5x anything else.

I heard there was a good butcher somewhere up in Buellton :notsure: if I can find that one, I 'll probably head up there so I can also get my growlers filled up at Firestone!! :D

Coming from a Member with the name "tri tip", you probably know more about the butcher shops/meat cuts than I(no sarcasm). :D

not sure yet. Probably just some beef ribs and then try to find a nice cut of tenderloin that I can sear and eat black and blue. I've got a craving for a nice bloody steak, so I figure I might as well enjoy it with the football game.
