    Yeah, it was definitely bad the last time I was up there. Pretty sure i could have built a livable shack out of all the trash up there! Honestly though, how do you combat that? How do you stop people that dgaf from doing that? Sadly, it seems almost impossible.

    At a localized, easy access place like that you would literally need a group of people to clean it up biweekly to keep it "open". With how active it is back there, it's surprising no one has tried. It's sadly going to turn out to be a spot that no one will miss until it's gone. And people wonder why there are locked gates on the majority of trails in the back country. If they are kept clean and "undisturbed", there would be no reason for anyone to get in the way.....sadly that doesn't happen.

    I've been here for a mere 15 years, and it's sad to see the trip reports from coworkers who use to go out and get lost in the backcountry in the late 90's. They could pretry much go anywhere. The standard convo is me saying that I've never seen that trail, and them responding with, oh that's been closed for at least a decade...I want our trails back!!! :mad:
