I havent walked by there in about 10 years, they updated the sign lol.

Dont let it get on your nerves, no one at that spot will do anything or even give a bad vibe.

Haha I remember when they were doing a bit of road work on the road up to Jalama and on the cement divider that was there someone had painted "LA Go Home". I know it's kinda dickish but, I always laugh. If people are rude in the water though, that's where I draw the line.

You have to understand that, it's always been that way around that area. Ignorant and Juvenile as it may be...
The people who own homes in that area and have for years, grew up surfing there and have not had to deal with the obnoxious crowds & all the nonsense they bring. That and when they built the Bacara right there...homeowners were pissed. I know I would have been irate if they put that damn thing in my backyard. I'm annoyed they built it and I'm not even a homeowner. The poor planning and development doesn't stop there....
Maybe I shouldn't comment and I certainly don't mean any disrespect. I just can understand what the people who put that up might be feeling. Again, I personally wouldn't put a sign like that up myself nor would I be rude to people.

Having blabbed all that, did you get out into the water at all Chris?
You're Local enough in my book.
I saw some fun little glassy ones the other afternoon when i was on a beach walk with my lady.

I feel loved... Technically I'm from Orange County and now I'm not a part of UCSB anymore so I'm welcome there.

I know I would feel the same way too if I grew up here, I just don't like shit like that on the beaches. Ruins it for everyone.

By the time I got out there it was a little blown out. I body surfed a few small waves and called it a night.

Lompoc has its own "LA GO HOME" and even "SB GO HOME" feelings...there's a lot of negativity towards rising rents and home prices due to SB residents getting priced out of the market and moving north (like me). But now we're talking about demographics and income levels vs surf spots.
"Go back to the val, kook." was often heard at Topanga Beach and Surfrider (Malibu beach) down south. I watched a guy get his board and nose broken in the water down there before...not cool.

    That's funny!!

Wasn't there some lady running for some sort of office position in SB like 5 years back that had the slogan, "keep LA in LA" or something to that effect?

The guy trying to kill me for not sleeping with his wife lives in Lompoc. Maybe it's because he knows I'm from LA and just wants me to go home
