Flippac is still just an expensive big tent...That's the conclusion I drew when I looking at a flippac vs camper. If you want a vehicle habitat, go hard walls.

Rain predicted for this weekend. I wouldn't be surprised if they closed the road just in case.

Good point. It's also why I didn't go the RTT route.

The flip tent is the way to go. Looks so easy to open and close. Is the price point is on point with the RTT?

Won't let it go for less than 25

Anyone have some reference material for things I should be checking out or inspecting on the truck after/before trips where I have heavy use? I always see people who work their trucks hard having other issues or failures aside from the regular oil/fluid changes, worn out boots and whatnot. Not really sure where to start.

I have several 5-7 day trips coming up in the next few months and a 21+ day trip in March and I want to make sure that everything is squared away and solid.

Besides fluids and obvious, I check my lug nuts and other visible nuts and bolts. I don't torque them, I just check if they're loose or not. (I found five only hand-tight lug nuts on my front driver rim after Miller Jeep Trail this way)!!!

Essentially you should check everything you've ever touched. haha!

Start marking your nuts/bots so you just have to do a quick visual rather then torquing everything

Does anybody paddleboard? I'll be paddling the Harbor Friday after work since we're getting a heatwave! Followed by Brophy's on the Alley or the sushi place and a pint.

Got my gear rack tonight for my All Pro pack rack and one of the mounting tabs was bent 90 degrees... arrrgghhh! :annoyed:

Hoping they replace it quick, but there damage policy states it falls on the shipper... fucking a.
