Not sure yet! Amazon or Home Depot? Possibly Harbor freight but I don't want to skimp since I use it a lot.

I got my Makita set at Home Depot for a great price on Black Friday. It's been a few years and don't remember exactly what it was but they had the cheapest at the time for a drill and impact set with three battery's and a charger. Those little impacts are awesome.

Unfortunately not! I moved out last New Years, been in Simi now for almost a year.

The truck is doing great. It's being re build by Dirt Designs right now.

    Hello
I'm new to Morro Bay and Tacoma World. I drive a 2011 Brown Regular Cab 4x4 with a ARE utility camper/rack. Im hoping to do some exploring while I'm here. What is a good weekend trip in the Los Padres?

Personally, I would. Especially now with the inexpensive handheld Baofeng units on Amazon. The test is super easy and the reception is superior. We used HAM in Big Bear once to get a guy mechanical help bouncing off the repeater. Can't do that with a CB...

I just went to the hot springs behind Santa Barbara last weekend. Was a great trip and easy. I'd recommend camping and sitting the tubs with the stars over your head.

Motomon. That sounds like a solid night. Thanks for the info. You may already know about this spot, but there is an awesome view in Cayucos. It's a short steep drive to a spot called hang glider hill behind the Cayucos Fire Department if you follow Chaney Ave until it turns to dirt and then just follow it all the way up. Anyone driving through should definitely check it out.

I don't remember which site I used for a practice test, there are a lot of them. I probably just did a Google search and went from there. It's not hard at all
