Just read through the thread, that was Saturday u went, sucked down here too, but Sunday was firing in south Oxnard! This weekend should be good too!!! U need to come surf down here n get some barrels with me

I surfed there a couple times with my 9'. The days I was out it was head high & pitching pretty hard. I got slammed badly a couple times but it was fun. Real speed orientated wave though...

@4WDTrout yup south strand. On a 9' the north end is more suited for that, south end is wedgey grinding barrels! Well when it's good lol

 

Yeah, they had some punch that's for sure! I remember thinking to myself that possibly having a pin tail instead of a squash tail would have come in handy.

Trestles is way down from me, but super sick wave! Yeah gotta head down my way sometime. I surfed Rincon pretty good a few Friday's ago on that long period west swell! Was sick till 1000+ guys joined me

 

Very interested in the package deal! Do the side windows zip out completely? Need to stuff the 80lb lab through them as she will not be using the ladder... that's a huge selling point for me

 

So the truck has been making a pop/clunking sound from what I believed to be the driveshaft ever since I got it serviced in Ventura. It does it under load, typically when I accelerate from a dead stop quickly or when I drive up around at steep hill like the one on East Camino that goes into the very hard right turn.

I get to used to be called Coast Driveline and have a gout come out and have a look. I do my best to recreate the sound, the guy looks at my carrier bearing/center support bearing and says there's way too much play in it. So, right there in the parking lot I take the rear drive shaft off and bring it into William so he can get the work done on it. I have to say, I like the way William does business. He's straight forwarded, friendly, and very customer service orientated.

 

Morning gents, currently live down by Malibu but looking to move towards Ventura/ Pt Mugu. Anyone have any simple uncrowned trails in the area? Rather not use my bolt cutters either

 

Is anyone able to remind me how to reset the "MAINT REQD" after I changed the oil?

 

Turn the truck off, turn on to half position with the little odometer stick thing held down and wait for the zero's to count down and flash. I believe that is it.
