Well if it's fully dropped it could be pulling the bolt up...try slowly jacking it up while hitting the bolt

He cut the top nut off so unless it's completely rusted to the shock mount it's probably not :notsure:

Oh, did you get my text?

After several attempts at various methods I have a hunch that it is seized/rusted to the shock sleeve. I soaked the bolt and sleeve in PB blasted, and if it doesn't come out tomorrow I'll get a new bolt and take the sawzaw to this one

Thanks for the input everyone, I really appreciate it!

I don't think so. I'm surprised you don't know them. Good folks. I went to high school with Tony and the rest of those kids. He's been pretty into video and photo stuff at least since then. Haven't really kept in touch tho. I used to surf with his dad Tom, who's the guy in the runner and has been a prominent figure in the local surfing scene since forever. He's who does Goleta surfing.com. He's always driven either a Chevy or Ford truck as far as I remember, but I haven't really kept in touch with him either. This town never gets any bigger.

If you like Tom Modugno's photos you might want to take a look at some of Callie Bowdish's photos as well. She's captured years of great local surfing. Many of the spots are at Sands/Devereux. You might even come across some shots of my brother & I out at Sands.

Edit: Now that I watched the video you posted, I believe you're referring to his video making abilities. Callie's work is still worth checking out though!

Hey guys, wife and I are heading out for a trip on Sunday for a couple weeks, going out to Denver to meet up with @doreydeluxe then hitting Moab, and winding our way back down through Utah. Anyone have any recommendations we shouldn't miss? Thanks!

Were any of you just leaving the Lompoc Walmart? Silver DCSB with a raptor style grille, window visors, and American flags right below your side mirrors?
