Dang, that's crazy! I was out of town this weekend and driving back to town and seeing the smoke was like driving towards an inferno!

I got evacuated from Ventura Monday/Tuesday at 2am with my wife and 3 small kids, and could only find 2 of my 3 cats before I felt imminent danger(at least 100' tall wall of flames descending down the mountain miles long, ended up decimating the entire neighborhood just 2 miles from my home) and peeled out to Carpinteria to my moms. I have tons of family in Ojai and Carp. Evacuated to Carp, then had to leave Carp on Wed/Thurs to escape the fire and air. Back in Ventura, safe, home is filthy but standing, 3rd cat came home smelling like a stale fireplace log:( but good!

Now have family in carp staying with me in Ventura. Crazy. Be safe folks. If any wind picks up get out just to be safe. At one point the fire was burning 50 acres/minute and traveling 59mph in places. I've never seen anything like it. Massive destruction. I have a lot of pics and vids, some crazy times along the 101 driving through a firestorm, and many great people have lost everything.
    cheers

Wow, was just DT Santa Barbara and you can actually see the flames coming over the hills. Not sure if they were visible other days, but seeing them from East Beach was kinda scary!

If anyone needs help, please reach out.

Anyone know of anywhere they can install and wire a light bar? I got a Cali Raised LED stealth mount combo and I can’t get the crash bar bolts off to save my life :censored:

I have that combo as well. Mine were on super tight but I managed to get them off with a regular ratchet. I would think most any shop would at least break them loose for you if you wanted to finish the install yourself. Once the brackets are in the rest is pretty easy. You can bolt the relay right to the fender by the battery and run the wires thru the boot on the firewall. I stuffed the switch into the little pull out storage thing down and left of the steering wheel.

I’ll have to go ahead and try it again. The shop I went to wanted $255 for the install and wiring
