Good to know. There’s another group from TW Wheeler’s Anonymous thread planning to do MJT same day we’re going out. They’re planning to camp halfway of the trail. Juz saying.

Agreed, I was waiting to see who showed up with what kind of capabilities (truck and driver experience) and plan to be semper gumby. However that being said 4 wheel drive is HIGHLY recommended, while none of the trails planned are "black diamond" or extreme, it could prove to be very challenging without and I do NOT recommend a 2 wheel drive Taco attempting them. I will have 5 FRS 2 way radios (4 to loan for the trip) and I believe John (sorry N6vmo) has an extra compatible 2 way as well if someone asks him nicely. I know of 3 S'Tacos (Stock Tacos) who have expressed interest in going so this is planned to be a fun not overly technical trip with some breathtaking vistas. There is one hill climb that is a little knarly , but if it looks to difficult for truck and experience we can decide at that point (plenty of turn around space.)

Really looking forward to meeting all of you and having some fun. Remember bring your Family! I am!

I need skids and sliders before I attempt Miller. Also remove the stupid predator steps cause if I don't, Miller would for me!

    Will DO!

With my E-Locker and A-Trac and my Nitto ridges, I have no doubt I can make it...just not sure what will be crushed/punctured/leaking on the other side lol

No I am not talking about MJT lol. Miller HAS to have 4 wheel...and locker...and skids/sliders...and a certain willingness to say.."I might just really fuck up my truck today"

derf77 thanks for setting this up even though the trail looks ez definitely have to use ur atrac or lockers on some parts of the trail. The last trail lockers was definitely a must going up. We have to go back to complete that trail one of these days. Next run MJT give u something more challenging so u can get more custom to ur truck. n6vmo nice meeting u. hope u have fun camping. Til next time.

der77, thanks for being 'Trail Boss' on this adventure. I had a blast and continue to learn the capabilities of my truck and myself.
jeprox, nice meeting you and hope to do it again soon.

After we parted ways, I headed to Mt. Pinos and camped overnight. It was nice to be out under the pines, stars, a nice fire and multiple cold beverages.

No pin stripes yet...dodged that bullet again. But I am afraid it is just a matter of time.
