If you guys are looking for a meet up you could do this today, I have no affiliation with this group a friend told me about it. I’m stuck working in Hollywood all day.

Anybody have a good place to get a windscreen replaced? Mine is cracking more and more each day. It's got about a 3 foot crack in it now... Pismo killed it

Exiting Oceano Dunes ohv this last Saturday approx noon-1ish (driving up the ramp where you transition from sand to pavement near the little payment collection booth ) two built rigs were driving in and I was leaving. I waved and said hi.

Truck one was a 3rd gen quicksand on 33’s with a softopper.

Truck two was a 2nd gen, black with a spare mounted on the tailgate and a lot of stickers on the windows.

Also saw a white early 90’s yota pickup pulling out of an alley down the street, looked like maybe was associated. Lifted on 35’ s? With a solid axle and rhino lined fender flares

    Anyone on here?

    good seein ya out there

That is a bummer. TBH I was just playing on my topo maps app and saw it and a road that connected. Was gonna go explore. Didn't even think to look. Glad I posted about it lol

I was thinking about heading to Ballinger Canyon on Sunday March 24. Just some easy stuff for the day.

Or just a drive to Davey Brown/Nira to see the creeks flowing and a side trip to Cachuma.

I took the family out for a day trip yesterday. We went up the 33 to Quatal cyn. to the top of the mountain. From there we headed west down Cerro noreste toward Carrizo. The clouds and fog we’re insanely thick all the way to Carrizo.

Once in Carrizo we encountered light rain and multiple Prius’s making u turns to head back to pavement.

Just passed the homestead we watched a heard of elk running across the valley floor.

We ran across a sequoia that spun out, hit a ditch, and landed on it side. The vehicle was abandoned no driver to be found.

From there we drove out the 58 to the coast and stopped at Firestone for dinner before driving home. The beef braised tacos paired with mind haze ipa was delicious. Driving duties were handed over to my wife for the 90 miles home.

I love that area. I work at Firestone Brewery  and live about a stones throw away, across the river! There are tons of trails in all directions to explore. :mudding:
