Holy crap, is that area in the first video clip hard to get to? Looks like a dirt paradise!

Went to apache canyon this last weekend. If anyone was wondering the trails over there they are really easy 2 wheel friendly for the most part. Maybe take a 4wd buddy just in case. I did most of what I could find. Definately not crowded there. Only went in 4wd a few times so that I could make new hillclimbs and break through some wash outs.

I’ve gone out to the old campground & turned around a couple of times...any idea of how far past that you could go in the stream bed...

I went about 5 miles past the campgrounds. Theres home made campgrounds about a mile further down then just riverbed. It starts to get sketchy after a few miles if you care about your paint. If i had another truck with me id be happy to widen some track. But unfortunately I was alone.

Welcome to the Central Coast! I hope you find it comfy and awesome.

There's www.polyperformance.com up here in San Luis Obispo, Kal Off Road Racing in Atascadero but I've never been there, and there's TAPS Truck and Auto Accessories up in Paso Robles, and they did my frame repair and suspension work. These stores aren't that big though but they might be able to help you find what you're looking for.

Thanks for the heads up. That is ridiculous its going to be closed forever. Tough to find funds for that kind of stuff.

Didn't see anything else but this isn't the first time they closed that area so the same stuff. Just like bc108. Gets closed often for extended periods of time. Same excuse. Won't get my hopes up.

I spent this past week in and around Tuson/Casa Grande, Arizona. Did some sightseeing and some easy exploring.

Trivia question: Can anyone tell me why this concrete structure was poured in the desert around Casa Grande and Arizona City and how it was used?

...this structure is just one of the 147 remaining of the original 272.
