I decided to put in my Alcan leaf springs to get ready for our trip to June Lake in September.
I have sliders coming next week as well.
I do look forward to more adventures in the Los Padres. I love it up there.

 

Picked up my truck today after AJ at Cory motors installed some 4.88’s from ECGS. One day for install. Very professional shop. Gotta take it easy for a few hundred miles but liking how the truck feels. Wouldn’t hesitate to send anybody needing help towards AJ.

How long did AJ take to complete the job?

 

Dropped truck off at 8am and got called around 415. But AJ took the truck on the road for the first 2 break ins. Driving for 15-20 minutes followed by 20-25 minute cool down of the diff.

 

Hey all, new Tacoma owner in Santa Maria here. Just wondering if there are any groups i should join and any good shops i should know of in the area? Trails, etc? Thanks!!

 

Welcome...I'm in Lompoc and most shops tend to be either north or south of us.

The Santa Maria 4 Wheelers are a good group, I have been on n a couple of events with them. They are non-denominational and all are welcome.

Rock Front Ranch, about 30 minutes from Santa Maria has some stuff to challenge a stock truck. Hit me up some weekend.

 

Thanks! I actually checked it out this weekend. We only went up about a mile or 2 before we turned around. Had some loud knocking coming from the front end when i put it in crawl control so we RTB'd real quick haha. Research suggests it might be some dried out CV's so it's getting checked out this Friday.

 

Hey guys, i have some used weathertechs and a 5' bed map up for sale. They need a little cleaning, but they're still in very good shape. I thought i'd give me 805 people first dibs before i post them. I'll be traveling to Oxnard tomorrow, in case anyone is interested. $145 for both or $70 for the mat and $85 for the weathertechs.

 

Good bye 805 and hello 520....This past January, I bought a place south of Tucson and in April, I sold my place in Lompoc. My employer has transitioned me to customer service and I'll be working from home in AZ. I'm going to miss the 805, been here since '82. But, new adventures await me in 520. Leaving Saturday, but will check the 805 thread on and off just to see what you guys are up to...

Congrats to you to Juan. Where did you buy? I will be traveling back and forth to take care of our customers on VAFB.

 

I bought a house over on 6th street I believe. 1 block from the riverbed. Kind of rough around the edges but I'll make it work. Closing date scheduled for 10/9.
