Right on Dave. Rain check granted.

I've been looking at doing Buckhorn Trail in Colson Canyon. I did it in a buddy's Jeep several weeks ago. You get to it via Sierra Madre road.

There is also a section of Rock Front Ranch that I have not run yet.
Let me know what you think....

    Jeez! o_O

My brother & his family live on the west side just off Mission St. He’s getting everything ready to evacuate so he can quickly pick up and go if necessary. I sure hope the FD gets that fire out soon

So, has this happened to anyone else?

Visor will not stay up. Is there a fix for it or do I have to replace the whole piece?

Does it also "click" when you move it from completely open to closed?

Sorry for laughing, but I've been living with this on the driver's side for at least 5 years or more. From the very little reading I've done it sounds like there is a plastic piece inside the sewn visor that breaks and causes this. Made me think it was not repairable so I stopped looking into it. About once a year I think about breaking out my seam-ripper and trying to fix it, but then something more important comes up.

Let me know if you figure it out though!! :D

It's actually fairly easy, mine were just like yours and I couldn't stomach paying for new ones. This fix worked perfectly for me and has held up with no issues for over a year

I called Toyota parts just to see how much a new one was. $123.49

Then I looked on Camelback Toyota’s website to see how much they will change. $89.09 + Shipping

Looks like I might try your fix @Dr3w when I find the time.

Mine was pretty bad, too. As long as you are able to drill the hole between the metal tab, I think it will work. Once you tighten everything down there should be enough pressure to hold the visor in place
