Any interest in a meetup at the collections?
Last month Ricardo13x set it up and a few showed interest.
This month it would be this Sunday the 20th at 4pm. In the corner by Whole Foods against the big wall.
A great opportunity to share ideas, learn something from eachother and best of all getting eyes on your rigs in person!
    Interested?

If you are but are unable please mention (instead of just not showing). Or if you have a better idea, place or time please feel free to comment.

I saw this truck Sunday. The driver was leaving the same area as I was and was just behind me on the way out. I was tempted to say hi but was kind of busy.

FWIW, it was a stupid simple design. Easy to replicate with a dremel and the SP face as the template.

Can any of you guys recommend a good replacement touchscreen radio for my 2012 non-JBL truck? No CD/DVD needed but would like to be able to use my phone apps on the touchscreen.

I can only recommend a great company for all that. Sound Doctor in Camarillo. Father and son, David and Mark. I’d trust their recommendation even if you were to do the work yourself. But they do exceptional installs with honesty and integrity. Can’t say enough good things about those guys. Sent my buddy over there with his brand new Harley Davidson Road Glide. He’s now a regular customer also. They’ve done all my off-road lights and interior lighting.

How much do you wanna spend? I have a headunit that I was going to throw up for sale from pioneer https://www.crutchfield.com/p_130AVW8500/Pioneer-AVIC-W8500NEX.htmlor you can look at the one I just picked up https://www.crutchfield.com/S-JyCnZSoR8ZL/p_130DMT7600/Pioneer-DMH-WT7600NEX.html

or since your in a 2012 we can set you up with a cheap headunit and use your ipad as the screen haha

Id be down to help you do the install since headunits are super easy to do

You're old unit doesn't look to fit my truck (per their website), but I appreciate the offer. The new one you're getting does though. :D Ive been looking on the crutchfield website for a while now but everything has been out of stock!

Just did my 3 link on my truck. Finished the honey do list on the house. Probably going to do a nice and easy shake down run next weekend Johnson valley if anyone wants to go.
