Whats up fellas, been lurking this thread and thought now was the best time to make my first post. Me and my cousin have been looking for day runs here in the 805 and having a hard time figuring out what trails are open and if they allow trucks on them. We arent looking for anything crazy; West Camino Cielo has been a lowkey cruise for an afternoon but looking to find a number of other trials/fireroads for some moderate wheeling. Any suggestions?

    Cheers

Hungry valley ohv is fun. Different trails to choose from with a trail rating system.

USFS is showing West Camino Cielo Rd closed due to fire danger. Last attempt it was closed @ the radio towers. Anyone been in the last week that could verify the current closure status?

Thanks pal, I was hoping to stay within the central coast. Live in Sb and not looking to drive over an hour each way for a day trip.

Damn, it’s wack and crazy that with these hills, streams, beaches and fields around us we don’t have jack shit. What a shame!

Not enough bandwidth on the internet to list.
As a 60 y/o lifelong SoCal and Central Coast, CA resident that's had a 4x4 since my first car at 17 ('77 Jeep Cherokee) , I could tell you EXACTLY why it's gone that way but I'd get the boot from the site for "going there"!

Man, the access we "used" to have.

The other crazy part is that I have seen some nice yota’s around but nobody wants to gather and talk trucks, mod, fab stuff. Cheers.

There's a few off road clubs around. In your area there's point magu crawlers. Super cool guys stockish to built rigs. I'm not a member but support any groups out there wheeling hard safe and doing their part to keep lands open.

Headed to Hollister hills next weekend. If anyone wants to go look me up I'll be camped at the 4x4 area. Can't miss me. Tacoma towing a orange pickup with "welcome to the s#!t show" sticker on the sides. I'll be the guy doing stuff in reverse sending it or red lining. unless i break something important in which case I'll just be drunk eating some good food.

I’m pretty sure autozone and the like will let you use the tool in the parking lot. Or they’ll come out and read the codes for you.

FYI, I’ve actually had pretty decent luck with the cheap harbor freight code readers if you want to just buy one.

I have a code reader at home and based on that you can make some evaluations and diagnostics.

Remember, if you get an o2 sensor code doesn’t mean that the sensor are bad but it’s reading something out of parameters.

Does anyone have photos of the stock inverter in the stock location under the center console before I start taking things apart?
