Superior brake & alignment on Milpas came highly recommended & has done right by me with mild lift.

This is where I went for my last alignment. They had no complaints about the lift and large tires and aligned it to the numbers I requested. Just make sure to make an appointment. If I recall correctly they are always pretty busy.

    Cool, thank you.
    They get the best reviews.
Do you remember what they charged?

When you guys go get an alignment, what numbers are you requesting & why?

I’m still a little ignorant when it comes to camber & caster…

No idea, sorry. It's been years since my last :anonymous:

Everyone seems to have their own preference but I try to have them pushed forward (caster) as much as possible while keeping stock #'s for everything else. Supposedly that helps create more stability, slight self alignment when exiting turns but requires more effort to turn the steering wheel. I don't have the experience of high speed romping in enough vehicles to say whether or not I've noticed any of that though. :notsure: :tinfoilhat:

Turns out those guys are "closed for business", "retiring".
Some people move them forward for clearance too..

Bummer. Paul helped me out a couple times. John Howe West was my favorite local shop but Phil retired as well. Feels like all the quality work is being squeezed out of this country when in fact, this is the time to double down to keep our country strong and thriving. I’m not too sure how my mind just incorporated one subject with the other but, it did.

I do however stand behind my statement though. :oldglory:

Right on. I think everything is going corporate.
So it might be our billionaires getting richer. Ugh.

Yeah, not what this country really needs imo. It’s already too top heavy.

Any 805ers interested in a 2nd Gen 5ft bed Backflip MX4 for $150? I don't take my rack off anymore so it's just taking up space.

Been awhile since I have poked my head in here! Hope all has been well for everyone.

Its time to do some refreshing on my 2013 taco in a few ways. With all the issues I have had with SPC UCA's (xAxis joints are stupid) and 145k miles on original other suspension components, OME rear leafs that have become a fuggin W shape etc etc...

Im wondering if anyone here in the 805 has the following:

Low mileage take off's from a brand new 2022/2023 taco:
    • UCA's
    • Rear Leafs
    • TRD OR front springs
    • Stock TRD OR Tires or 265/75R16 lightly used / new highway tires
    • Inner and outer tie rods

    2015 and older -
    • LCA's ( I now someone here put fancy LT on back in the day at under 10k miles and now have stock LCAs just sitting in your garage taking up space)

With how my truck gets used these days im considering ..... ugh.... yeah... ill say it... going back close to stock height with stock components

I have stock LCA’s you could have for free but you’ll need new ball joints at least.

Sometimes I get customers that want to leave their stock stuff with me after I install aftermarket stuff for them. I usually decline but I’ll keep an eye out for you if something comes up.
