    Found some SUPER low mileage 3rd gen take offs for a great price. Really just wanted the UCAs and front springs.

    Anyone here need a set of 2023 TRD OR shocks with under 2k miles on em?

    Same question. I'm in SB area and a couple mechanics told me they don't know of a decent machine shop locally to do head machining work anymore.

    I am thinking of looking around Ventura for a mechanic + machinist to do a 'valve job' (eg maybe grind a few valves, maybe machine the head) based on what they find after taking it apart.

    Any suggestions for a shop in Ventura that is good for engine work on a 1gen?

    Locally I like Eric at Fairview Motors to do more routine stuff and also like the guys at Automotive Technicians Group, both near SB Airport. But seem to need to look farther for deeper engine work.

    My pop, his friends and I have used a place in Moorpark. He’s very fair, good and honest! He’s a bit bipolar and talk shit if your vehicle is a pos but does great work. Chris’s Auto Connection on LA Ave (805)523-9350. Is daughter runs the front and is a bit abrasive as well, knows more about cars then most people that call lol.

    For machining there is J&S East Valley Garage in Montecito. I work at Village automotive close by to them. We work on everything but have plenty of knowledge to get Toyota work done.

    Stock can even play out there? The sand/salt pretty hard on components I'm assuming, good bath top/bottom afterwards probably recommended.
