i should be done with school DEC 2012, so as soon as i can after that. i've already started the whole process of getting medical cleared with the VA and all the BS. still not sure which branch, i want to give special operations another shot, but by the time i get back in i'll be 28-29... and special ops is a young man's game... if i went back to AF special tactics i'd go STO (special tactics officer/ CCT officer) they do a lot more operational work than CRO's do

    Whattup guys!

Another SLO Taco checking in here. Picked up a white 95.5 4x4 v6 5 Speed Tacoma earlier this year with only 150k on the odo. Couldn't be happier.

Doing the deckplate mod in as soon as I get a free weekend, but for now it's got a 2.5" leveling kit and a custom catback w/an 18" Magnaflow muffler.

Can anyone point me towards a good place to have a set of aftermarket headers installed around here?

    Cheers!
    Matt

Lol. I DO want headers. This truck is 1 of 2 DD's I have, which means it'll see tons more asphalt than dirt so the headers will get more use than a longer travel suspension.(albeit VERY TEMPTING) A basic leveling kit will suffice. :) I've got a fully built, fully tuned 450hp 2004 STi that sits in my garage that's literally dedicated for track use, I say I've spent enough $ on suspension components in general. ;)

Now, again, anyone know any places that can do a header install around here?

Yezzzirrrr SLO town. My brother is a master mechanic at a "SLOcal" dealership and has done about 90% of the maintenance/mod installs on all of the cars/trucks I've ever owned, however, I'm not sure I want to put him through the pain of a Taco header install without a proper lift rack lol. He can't use the company lift after hours or on weekends unfortunately.

I was thinking of having Jason @ Dean's Muffler & Performance in Grover do it. He really did an awesome job with my custom catback recently.
