    Believe it or not, the pan is pretty stout. Just shove a 2x4 in there to keep the jack from marring the pan, distributing the weight, and from putting all the pressure on the drain plug.

    right on. i'll have to stack a bunch of wood though (gigitty) because of my damn spindles... i carry piles of wood in my truck just so i can use my jack if i have to, otherwise i can't get the truck off the ground without them...lol
