Icon coilovers, TC UCA, Allpro leaf pack, rear shocks, ext brake lines (shit! typing that out just made me realize I'll need some break fluid). Doesn't seem like it should take too long, but from what I've read cutting into the sheet metal to take the UCA bolt off sounds like the hardest part... and the leaf packs seem like a quick swap.

that's not too bad. that's just a few hours of solid work, but personally i'd set aside the whole day and work slow and take plenty of beer breaks. that way you're in no rush and have plenty of time for anything unexpected.

won't really have to cut the sheet metal, just take pliers and bend it out of the way. install the bolt from the bottom when putting UCA back on.

you have a grease gun for the zerks on the UCAs? don't forget to grease the bushings and crush sleeves for the leafs too

grease the UCAs before you put them on or at least when the wheels are off. makes it easier

edit: and if you're using dry lube for the UCA uniball I'd do it while they're off too. I didn't lube mine, they squeaked real bad for a while but after the last pismo trip no more squeak, must've just worked out the dust :notsure:

I was recommended dry lube with graphite for the leaf bushings, but don't know any brands. I'm going shopping tomorrow for the last minute stuff. Will I be able to use the same lube for the front and rear?

hmm I just used the same grease from my grease gun used for the UCA bushings. just dunked my finger in and rubbed it all over the bushings and crush sleeves for the leafs.

picked it up at home depot with the grease gun

I work for an appliance repair/HVAC business. If it's 100 degrees outside, and we need to get into your attic, you're just gonna have to wait. Not worth the health risk. Unless, of course we can manage to pop off a duct or two and pump the AC into the attic. That's been done before.

there's usually a sexy ass car or two parked at my work. ojai is a destination spot for celebrity douche bags... and my work is pretty much the only gym and lap pool in ojai so we get a lot of "cool" people...

the GTR was sexy as hell though... i really wanted to see who was driving it
