ugh not this fight again..i read the lt thread now....i get it....the one story people here is mine..and its the truth...i tell everyone i changed parts and i take the blame for at least 4 of the months of making up my mind and waiting on parts. none the less i just want my truck done and built right. everyone knows that adam does good work....the tundy is the only truck that has taken longer than usual because of shit that i did and shit that adam did as well. we both made this process hard. its equal. end of story. ill just be glad to have this all over at the end of the month.

    Yeah. Usually anywhere from 200-500miles.

Usually I follow the this procedure:
    1. Intially Drive 15-20 min then let the diff cool. (Right out of the shop)
    2. For the next 200-300miles with no heavy loads Smooth & slow acceleration and breaking. Below 60 mph if you can.
    3. Change out the diff oil to remove metal shavings etc.

Then go continue doing whatever you were doing prior to changing the gears:cool:

Might sound like paranoia but I've seen quite a few gears break/premature wear etc from none proper break in.

    Yes, I sold my '13 Taco. :'(
I've always taken all my rear diff work to American Gear in SLO. Matt(owner/mechanic) & Jesus have always done flawless work on my trucks...rebuilding/resealing/regearing etc. They get sent tons of truck work from all the dealerships.

Just ordered a 40" led bar, single row with 10 watt leds for 15000 lumen output to test out
If its a good bar I can get em ridiculously cheap for anyone interested.
