at what point does this turn to dirt chris? ive looked at that trail before but im curious as to the terrain, is it cliffside like west or what?
edit looked at the satellite and i can kind of see.... curious if this is a fun run. how would you compare it to west? probably less interesting?

I dunno, bout 1.5 hours i think. Pretty far.

I think a little bit after gerbralter (forgot hor to spell it) its dirt. Its kinda like west but i think west is better :(i this just has a hot springs at the end and if youre into hiking and camping there is tons to do back there. The hike/camping to Jameson Lake is pretty badass!

This is a very smooth fire road. I would compare more to a rally road than an offroad area. It's a nice drive but long it takes an hour once u get off pavement to get to the end

I would be up for that as well. That's the Mojave desert area right? I just want to get out somewhere where I can get some speed with it.

I've got a LT 3rd gen 4runner if you want to tag along tomorrow, got 3 empty seats in it, 4 if there's three small folks in the back seats. Don't know how much I would judge the LT setup of truck vs a full bodied SUV and I've never rode in a LT truck so can't help in comparison.
