Lol great observation, you can see!
My point isn't spraypaint>HPLV. my point is you can get a pretty damn good finish if you take the right steps, and its IGNORANT to say that just because it comes out of a can or is rolled on it will never look as good... how it get's put on there is only half of the battle...
i'm not telling everyone to do that, or saying i wont spray my own truck with a HPLV gun once it comes time... im saying that IF YOU ALREADY PUT IN THE TIME TO SPRAY SOMETHING, AND ARE UNHAPPY WITH THE RESULT, DISREGARDING THE CONCEPT OF WETSANDING BECAUSE IT WILL "NEVER BE AS GOOD" IS DUMB... YOU MIGHT AS WELL. this is all im saying...
and it doesn't matter how much clear you spray on... if you do some research on painting, you'd know you have to wetsand and polish the clear, because that will spray on with orange peel as well. Even HPLV guns give an orange peel finish..

your paint looks awesome dude! just saying if you want a finish that is closer to your cab, your literally 3 steps away... why not just wetsand and polish then never have to hit them with a gun? but to each their own.. my paint looks like shit so you can see how i could care less

awh thats a bummer, guess you waited too long. hypothetically you could sand a wee bit and hit it with a few more coats, then go off that, but it seems like you'd rather just wait and spend 5 bills. it still looks sweet tho from +10 feet

anyways it was nice trolling everyone this morning, im gonna row my douche canoe to school then work, have a good day everyone!

Damn, hadn't even heard of the fire until now. Haven't seen any smoke all day, but then again I haven't looked either.

If you two don't mind me butting in to this conversation....

    Can you reload 223?
They are getting so dang expensive to buy new. And, if you guys are up for more company, I'd be down to go shooting. last time I went up there, I showed my lady and her son how to shoot a 12 gauge...fun times!

I prefer to shoot other guns though..

Yeah you can reload .223 for sure. As long as you can find the dies, and the brass. Everything else is pretty easy to come by. They have been way over priced for a loooong time now! Makes me happy I bought my 1000 rds right before the price hit the fan. I'm always up for more company up there. If I set something up I'll let you know.

    haha. Looks good mang!
