Does anyone have any experience with this particular shop?

    http://www.driveshaftpro.com/ventura

I'm thinking about having them do some work for me as I don't have the time to be tinkering around on my truck right now....

I thought some of you Ventura folks might be able to chime in and provide some feedback.

I called them and spoke to William....he was super nice on the phone and very accomodating. Unfortunately, he is all booked up and isn't available to do the work for like a week. I need to have this taken care of sooner. Any other recommendations?

    So here's a hypothetical..
Say I get a parking ticket, but they can't read the vin, can't correctly describe the make or model, and only match by plates, what would happen if I had "dealer" type paper plates, with the business name on it, like you see on brand new cars? Do they tow the vehicle? Or what takes place in that situation

I think the parking ticket is cheaper than dealing with all the hassle if you "hypothetically" get caught. Is it a SBCC/UCSB ticket? Cause those are super easy to appeal

Oh and if they do catch you they don't tow it. They add the wheel boot lock thing and charge like 600 bucks to remove it plus you have to pay for the parking ticket

Yah it's just a sbcc ticket, ill text you for info on appealing it. I was thinking of just waiting until they send the letter, then respond that my vehicle isn't a ford ranger, is black, and wasn't even on campus that day l, but I'm not sure. I was just curious what happens when there's not really any identifying information, but I guess they could tow it for not showing registration possibly?

Paper require DMV info to be taped in window. Not worth getting screwed, appeal it or pay....and park accordingly next time :)

They couldn't see my pay Stub since it fell upside down... Should be easy to appeal though. Makes me wish I applied for handicap parking instead of being a stubborn fuck baha

Sort of, except head on and a Tacoma.

Cruising home on my bike, 200 ft away from my house, 15mph corner, douche bag on his phone comes flying in, locks up his brakes, slid into my lane an hit me. Thankfully I reacted fast enough to only get my left side hit (bike didnt hit car), but I got tossed 20 ft. Completely his fault (according to police).
Bones are bionic. Every ligament in my knee (acl, pcl, lcl, menisus, etc) held together by plastic and screws where the bone pulled away from my joint, is what still hurts. Still can't run, jump, or even get out of bed and walk without popping an stretching my knee to get it to work. They were considering amputation but my surgeon was a boss. Almost 20 hrs total of surgery. 6 days in icu. Couple blood transfusions too, fully conscious from accident to emergency femur reconstruction. I have lots of pics from when I was waiting for ambulance, but I won't post them publicly till my insurance case is resolve. Please look twice for bikes and think twice before you leave your lane. Still miss Riding though.
