So, I just found out that I have wheel spacers on my truck and according to Big Brand in Goleta, one of my tires is "out of round". The more I learn about this thing, the more it's feeling like a "Bro Truck"

I'm just hoping that I'm able to run the wheels & tires without those spacers. Maybe they are on there because the tires will hit the UCA's...Or maybe they are on there because the calipers will hit the inside of the wheel without them.

I actually have one tire that's out of round as well. I was doing some research and apparently you can have them shaved, it used to be really popular but dwindled down to only a few guys doing it nowadays. Theres one reputed guy in our area, and he's near long beach. If you decide to go that route let me know how it works out. I'll probably just buy another tire since its a long drive and the tire is mismatched anyways, but that could be a viable option if your tires still have plenty of meat on their bones. If you'd prefer not to drive, you can ship it to a few companies and they do the shaving and send it back.
Are the spacers all around? And what type of spacers?

edit: heres that site i was talking about http://www.cowboytire.com/
and about big brand... theyre kinda schmucks. quoted me 500+ bucks to replace an axle seal they noticed when they were rotating my tires. said they had "done it a million times, they have to press out 5-6 bearings and press them back in and its a huge deal". 5 minutes/$4.00 and a wrench and hammer, i did it myself. hasn't leaked a drop since. just food for thought...

Yeah, I've heard of places shaving the tire down to make it "round" again. Too bad there's not a place closer that will do it for me.

I also had a closer look at my Calipers & Wheels last night after work....The wheel spacers are on so the calipers don't hit. Does anyone know what wheel specs I need to have for them to fit correctly?

16x8 4" BS? What about Offset?

    Ok....I don't think I understand the humor

    Care to elaborate?

I've always been fond of the Mickey Thompson Classic wheel look.... I know that MT & Eagle are basically made for domestic trucks but, they were already on when I bought it so...eh

There are random words throughout some pages that are hyperlinked and when the cursor is over them it looks like this. WTF?? has it always been like this or is this something new?
