dont wanna sound like a dick, but i doubt that would lower prices. Theyre pretty stingy about if from what ive been reading on facebook. Might get yourself in free if you come up to help set up but then again, i could be wrong. :notsure:

Oh Ya I didn't really think one person volunteering would change a damn thing lol I'm not that ignorant. But Ya as I said originally this year will make or break them if they flop this year when they charge everyone an arm and a leg no one is going to come back.

Sounds like they don't want to build a fan base and allow first timers the opportunity to see the competition without feeling like they'd been raped in the butt. They may have shot themselves in the foot on this one. I've always wanted to get up there for huckfest but those prices will keep me and plenty others away.

i don't think its that big a deal (unless its as shitty as last year), i think 35 is a pretty fair price being its per car and not per person, load my truck up with 5 people and thats 7 bucks a piece. i think them actually renting out the dunes is going to allow them to be able to run a much better show and all the tickets being pre sold might help with the fucked up line and everyone showing up at 4AM. i can't imagine that was cheap to rent out the beach along with all the insurance and permits they probably needed so they got to charge something, and i think they deserve something after all that work, if they can put on a good show its worth every penny, I'm gona say based on that this year either makes or breaks huckfest. after what happened last year and then now wanting to charge a good amount to watch, its going to have to be good.

Brian do you know how that all works since your buddies with em? do they still need to coordinate with the rangers and all that or is it pretty much there gig for the most part and the rangers are just going to be doing there normal duties?

ive had a few answers from them regarding the ranger etc. and they were all different. Ill be with them over the next few days so ill get the low down on it all at somepoint.

Ya if they put on a good coordinated show last year I don't think people would be complaining AS MUCH but seeing as much of a shit show it was last year everyone is worried whether it will be worth their money

agreed, thats why i feel this year is either gona be off the charts and bad ass or as bad as last year plus worse cuz everyone actually paid a lot of money, either this is gona be the end of huckfest or just the beginning of better ones

i think theyre going to do a FMX thing at somepoint through the show. i have a feeling people would just hurt themselves on a bike if they had an open class like that hahahah.

So I think my biggest question for the twins would be what are they doing for the overnight campers to make it worth another $65. I would say they need to get a descent size stage going with bands playing till at least 1 and a huge vendor area with a bunch of food trucks/ food stands then some good old fashioned compitions to make the night better ie: food eating contest, three leg race ect for prizes just to make it worth that extra bit

Ya I can't justify swinging an extra $65 just to basically avoid getting up early
