So far it is good, Im only through about 15 trails, it has nice breakdowns of what to expect and gives you exact GPS coordinates for where to go.

I've never seen any other side trails (that are open) aside from the fireroad....unless you're on a dirtbike that is.

Ya it's basically just a fire road figured I'd put it out there for a change of pace to see if there was more interest either way. Iv only done east twice personally it's not super bumpy but it is a fun drive where u can get sideways and not have to worry about other cars nearly as much as u would on an average road

Hi Guys - newb here, but not n00b to 4wheelin and dirtbiking. Anybody know this truck? Guy is selling it, has a TW sticker on it, but there's no build thread. Just looking for some reviews if anyone's gone wheeling with him or whatever. :typing:

I don't think anyone has wheeled with him but the dude did not know the difference between a long travel kit(which he was previously trying to advertise that had on it) and the mid travel kit he actually has on it. It took repetitive comments from the manufacturer to finally convince him of the difference despite many comments from other members

"But it has spacers to give it more travel! It runs 13 inches...all I need is long travel lower cause the upper is already a long travel upper.... "

So based on these conversations...what would be good to look for? I'm new to Tacomas...I'm coming from solid front axle Jeeps.

I got my 2wd Westy to a lot of places....2wd and locker shouldn't be too bad. Why 4x4? I know this debate RAGES in the Jeep community. (blah blah blah - good tires, air down, locker, blah blah, body damage, blah, skinny pedal, blah) :puke:

4x4 so you can go more places and have more fun. Better question is why not 4x4?

get whatever you're going to use it for. Simple as that. If 4wd is not needed, then there is no reason to get it.

what year westy do you have?? Westy's are able to go places cause they're pos trac, basically locked in the rear...

I'm going back out on the dunes again tomorrow with a buddy who's coming in with his girlfriend. Is it "legal" to run my lights while on the dunes? I got busted for having them on while heading to get off the beach.

I mean, better to be seen than not. And in the middle of the day they can't be blinded by my lights.
