I was already camping at Refugio with the fam so I couldn't make it. Sounded like a good time though.

Motomon......I saw you coming down Montecito St(from SBCC hill) and turning left onto Castillo the other day. I think it was the day that you were leaving for your Camping/Surf weekend(Friday?). You had the bed of your truck all loaded up with what looked like camping gear held in with a cargo net. There also was a silver longboard bag sticking out the back as well. I think it was you.....Not too many blue double cab trucks like yours in the area. I told my lady..."Hey, I think that guy is on TW...." haha

Looks like you had a good time. That surfing/Camping weekend sounded like a lot of fun and if I didn't have prior obligations, I would have jumped on board if there was room.

Yea! That would be me on Saturday morning...dang, that was pretty early, too. It was a good "sea to summit and back" weekend. Pismo July 18-20!

If someone goes camping this weekend, post up! I'm staying local, but wouldn't mind tossing a tent somewhere again.

I love that area. The last time I did it, though, I actually hiked from the bottom along the road. That was a long day.

I could check on friday for you when I'm messing with my truck. That is, if the 12's are wired the same (which I'm sure they are)

That's a lot man! What do you do, camp, hike, fish, mountain bike??

Was under the truck last night with a grease gun thinking I was going to be able to lube my driveshaft..... Wrong. There are no zerk fittings on my driveshaft....wth. I also noticed that I'll be needing a new center support bearing....the rubber around it is all torn up! Finally, I attempted to grease up my ball joints on my Camburg Ball Joint UCA's as they DO have zerk fittings...the boots are completely torn. :(

    Money money money........Money!

Yeah, I'm sure. I just called Toyota(in Goleta) and spoke with someone in parts...after providing him with my VIN, he told me that he didn't see any zerk fittings in the diagram he was referring to.

Nope, I didn't do the UCA Ball Joints yet. I'm still trying to determine what I currently have in there. I need to know if I have an OEM Ball Joint that had the top tapped and zerk fitting installed or a Moog Ball Joint that comes with the zerk. I'm going to take a mirometer to the inside cup my Camburg UCA's to see if it's been altered from the original specs. That should help me determine if the ball joints are Moog or not, as Moogs are a touch wider and cannot fit without MODing the inside cup.

Laurel Lake is on my list to go to, did you do any fishing up there? How crowded was it?
