I was going to get hooked up with a 10 ton press from a coworker (basically free) but just got a text from him saying his brother needs it so I'm shit out of luck.

I'd be down to buy a new one cause it turns out they aren't too expensive, but I'd rather not rush into buying one, so I figure I just settle on a spring compressor for now. Unless you have a line on a press...? :cookiemonster:

Hopefully get everything rebuilt before next weekend. All depends on when I get the parts.

I think you're better off with your new coilovers anyways!!

I've heard those don't always work and are a bit sketchy :notsure: think they'll work on my 700lb coils?

No clue lol. The one I had looked ok. It was brand new too. Think Timmy had a slightly different one of I recall and it didn't work.

Yes they work , just becareful. I have used them with 500 to 700 lbs springs. They do work just a bit tedious and scary. Make sure to check tool for any broken pieces and lube the threads.

Thanks for the input guys. I guess if I can't find a good bench top compressor I'll see how trustworthy the rental units are. Worst case, I've got a few large ratchet straps. Lol.
