yeah, I'm inclined to think that there's more to the story than that. I've had lots of random late night encounters from the Ventura County Sheriffs like that and never once did anything ever get even CLOSE to that story. Except this one time I got pulled over for "speeding" and his argument that he had to go over the speed limit to catch up to me...and I'm like, yeah that's how science works, one vehicle has to go faster to catch up...but that isn't an argument to say I was going over the limit. He didn't get it and started giving attitude so I just took the ticket and went on my way because I know he sat back down in his car, thought about what I said and was like "DOH!". Later I went to court for it and sure enough, he never showed and the ticket was dismissed. They're mostly all good guys if you give them the chance to be.

Eh i could see it... cops on a power trip... whats new?
They have too much time and too little oversight... Plus its just another perp with a misbehaved dog... no skin off his back.
I wonder what it was like when cops were citizens protecting fellow citizens... not this high and mighty ticket and arrest all the lowly non-leos b.s. Plus its not like they think they're bound by the constitution anymore... Just let the courts figure it out, they say.

Anybody looking for a place to live? I'll have some rooms coming available in a 4-bedroom house in Lompoc (Vandenberg Village) around Dec 1.

With your past luck and present outlook and the local police, you might want to stay way the hell away from IV this weekend. Or hide you truck in a garage. :p

I'm going camping at the Hot Springs above SB (middle santa ynez campground) for Halloween (Friday-Sunday). We'll have a projector for scary movies. Anybody is welcome. Look for my blue access cab running a projector.

Dude haha I actually got pulled over last night after writing that too. I pulled out with my lights off then flipped them on, cop chased me down a mile and then tailed me down the 217 waiting for me to open it up. Then he went to pass, changed his mind and lit me up. Said "Well I was already out here so I changed my mind and figured why not pull you over"... hahaha

The truck is being parked in Goleta at my buddies and everything else is being hidden/locked. I don't think I even have a vehicle legal enough to make it through all the checkpoints they'll have in place. Fuck I wish i had a garage..

Might have to go meet up with motomon
