I'm interested. How much power can you put through those? And what is the price difference between DIY and Skygear?

FYI - cost on all the parts and wire and mounting hardware. I normally am in these for $60 give or take $15 depending on length of wiring harnesses. Do not forget to buy the right type of crimper.

I'm not here in this thread for a sales pitch, I just want to make sure you all have the right information.

I mentioned before also, If anyone wants to piggy back on my orders for parts, I am more than happy to do that. and reship to wherever on your dime. I plan on making an order this week.

anyone know of any Firestones in the 805 that have an alignment tech that knows what he's doing? I paid for the lifetime alignment and it was all fine and dandy with a 3" lift but now that I put TC UCAs on it seems to be a pain to get them to get it aligned properly. Hoping someone else has the lifetime alignment deal and found someone who knows how to align my setup properly.

Yeah, I know there are other shops that can probably do it right but I paid for this lifetime alignment thing and I'd rather not have to pay for an alignment anywhere else.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble getting your truck alignment done properly. I'm going to get an alignment by this weekend at the very latest...just adjusted the Icons.

I've been calling around but it's pricey..

Yeah, it's kinda irritating. I'm thinking I might just try to make small adjustments myself to try to correct it a little.

Its difficult at first but possible to do your own alignment. Do you know what needs to be adjusted? is it just toe or is it camber and castor too?
I read a ton about alignments back when i couldn't afford to pay someone to do mine (still cant really lol). If you have any questions let me know

LOL. That's definitely a Firestone alignment.

yeah, I have a feeling I just got a "set the toe and let it go" alignment...and they didn't even set the toe right. last time I got one, there were enough threads on the tie rod to get it to spec, are my tie rods magically shorter now? WTF?

Based on the picture, I'm willing to bet you just have to have them move the driver's side front eccentric outward (away from the engine) and it will bring your camber back into spec. It will reduce your positive caster as well (also bringing that into spec). Same goes for the passenger side, but a lot less. I'd personally leave the passenger side as is, but I like a little negative camber.

I knew I should have marked the eccentrics before I went in there. I bet he didn't even touch them.

so moving the front eccentric outward...that would be a counterclockwise rotation? (looking from the front)

Depends on how the eccentric is positioned, haven't had my head up a second gen in a while. See below. You want to rotate the cam "longer." Typically the driver's side would be counter clockwise if you are looking at the bolt from the front of the truck.

ok, cool. That's what I was thinking too. I'm pretty sure my cams are oriented like in that image (front marks face downward and rear marks face upward).

Thanks for the help, I'm going to try messing with it this weekend hopefully.

The ventura one has a tech that use to own a shop, he's pretty good. Ask for the manager Dale, he remembers my truck...rack was shit and I had it aligned every trip out lol. I was mid travel then. The camarillo one I've been to once. I was full longtravel and he said no problem but he couldn't garraunte tire wear, they did a good job( well the printout was good and truck drove good lol)
