OK thanks. I'm good - I have another device that is much smaller than this system. :)

If anyone wants it just let me know!

Why do people break down so much there? It looks like a pretty easy and simple place to drive. Nothing extreme to break shit on.

    Anyone ever go paintballing?

I used to do this with my neighbors back in the day. It was kind of fun as they were all ex-military...

I used to go a while back. My friend was just telling me how he went down to Ventura on Saturday and played at a great course.

I've only played locally. We all used to go play woodsball behind the turnpike vons. We usually played the hill. I recall making so many natural hides & bunkers etc there. We would always clean that place after playing. One time we cleaned on a day that we didn't even play and we ended up hauling out 6 full garbage bags of trash. I couldn't believe it! So many lazy people who didn't care about the land
In any case, I heard that a while after we stopped going there something happened on that property and people where no longer able to paintball there or even be on the property.
I'd love to be able to go back there and play a game again...That was good fun!:infantry:

Grannys Forest, I played there some back about 10-12 years ago. The tragedy of the commons, just like at the national forest shooting ranges.

Is anyone interested in a very new Bestop softopper for their 6foot bed? I just bought it used from another forum and haven't even taken it out of the packaging in which it shipped. I've got a line on a camper I'd like to get instead. Asking $500obo. Buyer pays shipping or can deliver in Goleta/Santa Barbara. Can deliver to Ventura if you're willing to wait until I visit LA.

True. I haven't even tried it out yet, but I found a sweet Six Pac camper up north which fits perfectly and allows me to have the moto on the back rack. I do enjoy a hot shower after a day of riding out in the middle of nowhere!

Hey maybe you guys know this. What are the laws for having people in the bed of the truck when off road? I would assume there are none. Some friends and I want to camp at Big Caliente but don't want to take multiple trucks. Since it's apparently very light off roading I feel like they would be fine in the back. What do you guys think?

The dirt road is a street legal road. All laws apply including seat belts and DUI. Just be cool and don't cause a ruckus - There's the ranger and then there are the law enforcement rangers...but they are mostly beyond locked gates looking for trespassing motorcycles and other illegal stuff.

Damn I didn't know it was street legal. Do you think I'd get away with it if they weren't going crazy?

Like the time in college my brother drove a full Jeep with two guys hanging onto the roof rack down the road at 40mph while drinking 40s? Yea, you'll be fine if you're just cruising around. Don't come drifting around the corner with people in the bed :D Honestly, most of the time I'm up there it's dead. Especially in the afternoon - all the day trippers go home. That's why camping is the best!
