On a positive note, I fired up the WR426 for this weekend...I'm sure my neighbors enjoyed my wheelies although I might have a flat front tire.

Does anyone know the actual rules for target shooting in the low spot dress? I'm not talking about the glass factory or Winchester. I've been trying to call the ranger station but nobody ever picks up the phone anymore. Specifically I want to hike from the end of the roads leading to the Hot Springs and potentially go target shooting.

My interpretation is that you are good to shoot anywhere in the NF as long as its not in a restricted place. I am not a lawyer tho.

Hey guys i have been researching coilovers and thinking about getting some fox 2.5 rr. But I have a few questions what is a center hub? In reference with center hub to fender when measuring, is it the hub cap? Also there's two collars on the shock what does each collar do? Sorry for the noob questions lol. Oh and from what I read so far their is a taco lean and you have to adjust the coilovers to get 3 inch lift?

This would be better posted in the tech section.

The center hub is the center of the wheel (so yes, the very middle of the hubcap).

Is this the shock you're looking for? Likely, the collars are for adjusting height and since I don't have experience dialing these shocks in - perhaps the compression and rebound are the settings.

Taco lean - the driver side is heavier (battery, our fat asses, gas tank). You adjust it all to sit level, yes, but you don't need a heavier spring or anything compared to the passenger side.

Looks like height adjustment. Here are the installation instructions. See step 19:
Set the vehicle back on the ground and drive it back and forth several feet
to allow the suspension to settle. now measure the new ride height and make
adjustments if necessary. To adjust the ride height, first lift the vehicle (refer
to the InSTaLLaTIOn guIdeLIneS for instructions on how to properly lift the
vehicle). after properly lifted, loosen the top lock ring, and adjust the main
spring retainer. Once your height is set, retighten the top lock ring against the
    main spring retainer.

Thanks I figured the top is a locking collar and the adjuster is the bottom

Anyone know a welder that does good work and is not too expensive in the Ventura area? I need some jerry can baskets welded to my tire carrier.

You had me curious so I had to look it up. Here is for the short bed Tacoma with the 2 additional options for the extra cover and the mesh for the back window. For just a plain jane one it's $650.

oooooohhhh! yeah they are a bit more expensive. I personally like the Softopper looks a bit more than the Bestop though. So I guess that works in my favor if I were to ever get one.

The bitch is, I've always see used ones for sale but only for the 6' beds
