I'm thinking of camping at Jalama this summer with the family (wife and 2 boys). Is there much to to there if you don't surf?

We mostly just hung out and swam. Played some football and horseshoes on the beach. At night we cooked and had some beers. I never surf. I just can't get good at it. I can snowboard like a semi pro but I eat it on a surfboard.

Lots of big fish up that way. That and I've always had an uncomfortable feeling in the water up there. I got it every time I went surfing up there...not to mention the things I've actually seen

Damn that's freaky. We didn't go out too far though. Never enjoyed the ocean too much.

To each their own but, I've always felt that swimming near or north of Point Conception isn't a good idea

Jalama is sharky! Men in gray suits frequent the area. That said I've surfed there many times and had more issues or run ins with the dam sea lions!!! Hate those fuckers! Tarantulas is a sick spot on south swells!!!

I agree anything past pt concep gives me that weird feeling.

Derek jalama has a lil train trestle bridge, a lil river estuary deal with some cool wildlife. Cool lil store that serves great breakfast and awesome burgers. There is a playground for the lil guy. And of course the beach. It is way back by itself so once there that's all you got. I love it, but I also love to hit the waves so kinda biased :)

Come up to Morro Bay and Cayucos and it's not bad for surfing. Besides Avila beach, I don't get that sharky feeling around here. Tons of spear fishing in big sur too

Big Sur is the sharkiest feeling place I have been. Jalama isnt too bad, the worst area is between Jalama and Pt Conception where there is a seal rookery.

Hey guys, I'm looking to get a Toyotec lift installed on my 2013 taco, any recommendations for a shop to do this? At a reasonable price?? Thanks ahead of time!

Rolled to Little Caliente Hot Springs today with my buddies. I love this truck.

Saw a silver Taco coming toward the spring around 6 pm when we were heading out. Pretty built up. Anybody on here?

I spotted a black double cab with Relentless front & rear bumpers, total chaos UCA's, black sliders, and some sort of black bedrack going north on the 101. I pulled up next to the guy driving but he wouldn't look in my direction. Tacoma snob. lol
    If you're on here....nice truck.
