805 Tacoma Tuning hit the streets this morning, rain and all, to bring a 2023 Tacoma, @the805local, and @jenn_walsh on Instagram into the KDMAX family!

As if this wasn't cool enough .. Jenn set Chris up with this tune as a gift!

It was a lot of fun setting up their truck in the garage while their kiddos worked diligently to get their off-road ATC up and running! Pro tip: Cleaning carburetors with your kiddos beats sitting inside all day while it rains.

Once again, it seems that we found the right fit for Chris. Our normal throttle option suits his driving style well while optimizing his vehicles performance.

Upon return from their test drive, he stated with a big grin “ That’s rad! There is so much more power, and it shifts normally now!” – Chris

Michael came all the way out to see us from Santa Clarita. We talked in depth about the tuning process, life, and, of course, rad vehicles.

After completing the tuning process, we set Michael out for his test drive utilizing our normal throttle setting.

We can say confidently that we have another very happy KDMAX customer in the family now.

805 Tacoma Tuning received information stating that there was a need to support an individual interested in learning more about getting his vehicle dialed in.

@looledwin reached out to the KDMAX network, and they pointed him in our direction, knowing we would provide him with all of the necessary information while delivering the results he was looking for.

Once again, we assessed his vehicle build and personal driving style, determining that our Sport throttle option would suit him well.

Edwin opted to use the drive home as his test drive, and we received a text soon afterward, which read..

When the time was right, Jesus reached out, requesting more information about KDMAX Pro tunes and the tuning process.

We had a brief yet thorough discussion and identified a scheduling window that worked well for everyone to get him set up.

Jesus arrived with his wife and daughter, who were all very patient and fun to work around while we set his truck up.

Ultimately, we determined that our Normal throttle option would suit his driving habits best.

After their test drive, Jesus returned and said:

805 Tacoma Tuning and @tsteph1030 on Instagram, were able to get together and beat the incoming storm this afternoon so we could set his 2023 Tacoma up with a KDMAX Pro tune.

Big shootout to @totoyota_offroad on Instagram for providing Trevor with the information needed to get ahold of us. Make sure to hit them up for any of your part needs.

It was a lot of fun talking to Trevor and ultimately working together with him during his appointment. He asked very good questions and displayed a great deal of automotive knowledge.

As always, our favorite part of the process was witnessing the KDMAX smile upon returning from his test drive.

805 Tacoma Tuning, @plntpizza, and his friend @jes_manu on Instagram, came to us last night to get their awesome 2017 Tacoma’s dialed in.

Although the rain was on and off, we ensured their vehicles, and our equipment remained dry and safe throughout the process.

Oscar and Manuel had very similar setups. They also had similar goals and driving styles. Due to these observations, we felt the KDMAX Pro Sport throttle option would suit each of them best.

After completion and their individual trips back home, we received communication that we hit the nail on the head.

805 Tacoma Tuning kicked off a beautiful Saturday morning by welcoming Paul and his super clean 2nd gen 2012 4.0L Tacoma into the Yotawerx family.

Looking at his truck it was evident that he was looking to optimize his vehicles potential.

With nearly 200k miles on it, improving the vehicles behavior by eliminating erratic shift functionality and optimizing engine performance will allow Paul to enjoy the full potential of his vehicle.

After observing his setup and some general discussion related to his driving style, we decide to set him up with the Weekend Warrior throttle option developed by Yotawerx.

The comments received later in the day seem to say it all. (See below)

I believe @Technique said it best. The truck gets up to traffic speed so quick, that you find yourself letting off the gas just as quick. I concur as I found myself doing the same thing. But now I’ve found a sweet spot at 18%-20% throttle input and the Tacoma MOVES from a stop. What does that take? Torque. And yes, it gives the ponies up top too. On 91 Mobile most of the time(Chevron/76)

And above all else, @805 Tacoma Tuning from Santa Barbara to the San Fernando Valley aka Tom has been a pleasure to work with. Stand up hombre. YW is lucky to have this tuner in their arsenal.
