would this be a good axle to use for a SAS on a 99 Tacoma TRD? I can pick the front and rear up for 200.00.

Depends on what year the axle is. If it is Narrow Trac and driver side drop I would say go for it.

I can't remember the specific years that are the most desirable ; but yea those wagoneer axles were the golden ticket back in the days when guys first started doing SASs on their 1st gens - mostly because they had the right width to match the tacoma rear.

See if you can do some digging on the TTORA forum. Look for older SAS builds; a bunch of them were done using wagoneer axles.
