    how hard is it to put on 885 coils? everyone that has seen my lift and the instructions say i cant do it even though i have the tools to do it. so can it be easily done? time involved for the front and rear coils?

    I did it, all u need is a spring compressor and its pretty simple. 1-2 hours for the front. there are no coils in the rear, but for an aal and new shocks it took me an hour.

    New truck....so nothing yet
    There are going to be a lot of folks who say to rent a compressor and do it yourself but I would advise you NOT to. I nearly got killed when one of those damned things exploded. Save your self, pay someone else to do it.

    Made one, Pep boys wanted too much to squeeze my springs and the 1/2 assed auto zone loaner would not fit between the coils.

    It's not that hard. A wall mounted spring compressor is a better option in my opinion...but you can use the rental ones. Take your time and be careful about it...Take you 5-6 hours max to do an entire suspension. (That's what it took me- Remove, lift build, and re install the coils, install UCAs, install the rear AAL and shocks)

    Wall mount are the best.
    I just do not do enough to justify what it would cost me to build one. :D
