8's cant get low n loud

    SwingCase, driver side. PVC Bike rack. Aftermarket stereo.
    So 8 8" drivers - the equivalent cone area of more than 3 12" subs, hitting 150db. Not that impressive on 7k watts.

    And 1 8, in a CRX, hitting 152 - impressive, but I would never consider that "low", and while it is loud, I dont listen to test tone burps.


    Are these even yours, or applicable to a Tacoma specific forum, or did you just find these to post up?

    Big fan of 8" drivers, but dont see the point...

    I used 8's because the situation required it. If I could have used a 12 or a 15 I would have. More efficient and a lower FS (typically). I too agree that there's a much better way to use 7k watts but either way, shit's cool!

    And Matt, CRX's have one of the best transfer functions for SPL numbers. Guys literally go buy those things to build SPL cars.

    Just got my 2 sd2 10's in these guys "little brother" same soft parts different basket and shallower magnet 500 rms rated took 800-1000 watts free air for a good while and never smoked in qc testing can't wait to hear them they're as heavy as my type r 12's
