    I’ve got SPC uppers so I can move the caster and camber on those.

    The LCA are stock, Matt’s talking about the adjustment bolts on those to move the wheels forward in the wheel well. I’ve got octagon plates and new bolts to help keep from losing the alignment from hitting curbs at the malls :rofl:

    Gotcha. I see the adjustability in the SPC BJ. Had to look them up. That's nice and they built in some caster too.

    For the car's slignment I've been fucking with, shims behind the UCA (between the UCA and the shock tower) are what sets my caster.

    That sounds terrible but hopefully it’s not a pain to add those shims when needed.

    Thinking and looking more, I might not really be able to manage no rubbing no matter how far forward I go with the -12 offset wheels I have. If I don’t rub the back, I’ll rub the front. I considered the viper cut but am not sold on the side view of it.

    I knew the rubbing risks and started with 255/85/16s but when I needed new tires I wanted 285/75s.


    Apologies for being off topic in this thread.

    All this work to run greens and maybe some blues. Limitation is driver and this being my daily driver not truck limiting.

    285s rub, if they don't you need to wheel harder.

    And if you ever do get the cutting, alignment etc, set up perfectly so there's no rub you'll then discover 295s and then be back to rubbing in exchange for an extra 4/10th of ground clearance

    I wanted 35s… when I got the 33s.

    If I had 17” wheels I would probably have gotten the skinny Kenda 35s. But alas, I didn’t want to buy new wheels. I also was not a fan of skinny tires, but maybe at 35” it would have been different :rofl: just got new tires a few months ago so it’ll be a few years before I have to worry about that again.

    Thanks for the advice! I think I might go ahead and cut while I have the wheels off replacing the UCAs.

    35s need a regear to not hate your life. 295s you can live with stock gears and some HP boosting mods. 285 or 33s are pretty drop in, just have to cut a bit.

    I agree on the skinny tires, they look wrong.

    Yea, that also played a reason. Next time I need tires maybe I’ll be ready for a regear and larger tires. Maybe 295 or larger :fistbump:
